Position Description/Job Summary:
Reporting to the Inventory Coordinator, the Assistant Inventory Coordinator position will support our Territory Manager’s responsibility for inventory management through timely and accurate processing of Trunk Stock inventory-related transactions.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties/Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure compliance with OsteoMed policies, processes and procedures
- Perform various activities related to Trunk Stock inventory
- Create and maintain files for new TM’s to include a Checklist documenting the process
- Coordinate TM Start Date and Trunk Stock Delivery requirements by communicating with Sales Coordinators and the Shipping Return Sets Coordinator
- Obtain signed Trunk Stock Acknowledgement forms
- Complete Transfer Orders:
- Issue New TM Trunk Stock - Include with initial trunk stock the Brochures Request and a copy of the “Territory Manager’s Guide To Inventory Management”
- Requests for additional inventory (with approval)
- Requests for Marketing (with approval)
- Scrap Ticket replenishment
- OsteoPower Evaluations
- New product releases
- Complete Return Transfer Orders
- Expiring Products - Verify lot numbers and shelf-life remaining
- Quality Alerts - Coordinate with Regulatory Compliance Manager
- Service Alerts - Obtain details regarding OsteoPower in need of repair to include Notes for Service Department reference
- OsteoPower Evaluations - Determine availability of requested OsteoPower and accessories
- Miscellaneous RTO’s including recovery and trunk stock reduction efforts
- Follow-up on outstanding returns
- Complete Field Transfer Orders
- Transfer inventory from Shared Sets
- Set Reallocations facilitating with Product Management decisions
- Coordinate transfer of expiring product to TM’s with immediate need
- 0-MK location-to-location transfers
- Process TM and 0-MK Scrap Tickets (over the past 21-month period, the average volume is +/-300 line items per month including 0-MK). Scrap Ticket replenishment Transfer Orders
- Process 0-ST Scrap Tickets monthly (over the past 21-month period, the average volume is +/-265 line items per month NOT including 0-MK)
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Skills Required:
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in computer programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat (experience with SyteLine and Queries desirable)
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Able to juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously and work under deadline pressures
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Determine appropriate workflow process to meet departmental goals
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to apply past experience to determine appropriate action
- Teamwork and “Can Do” attitude
- Effective communicate and interact with personnel from all levels of OsteoMed, including members of Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Customer Service, Service, Production, Quality, and IT departments
Required Education and Licensing Certification:
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds maximum
- Office clerical environment. Extensive computer usage required
